  1 horse = 2.5 kW (for air-cooled units), 1 horse = 3 kW (for water-cooled units)

  Description:

  When "hp" is used as a power unit, it is represented by Hp (imperial horses) or Ps (metric horses), also known as "horsepower", 1 Hp (imperial horses) = 0.7457 kW, 1 Ps (metric horses) = 0.735 kW;

  The cooling capacity of small and medium-sized air-conditioning refrigeration units is usually expressed as "hp", and the cooling capacity of large air-conditioning refrigeration units is usually expressed as "cold ton (US refrigeration ton)".

  Air cooler matching for cold storage:

  The load per cubic meter is calculated as W0=75W/m3.

  If V (cold storage volume) <30m3, cold storage with frequent door openings, such as fresh meat storage, multiplying coefficient A=1.2;

  If 30m3≤V<100m3, cold storage with frequent door openings, such as fresh meat storage, multiplying coefficient A=1.1;

  If V≥100m3, cold storage with frequent door openings, such as fresh meat storage, multiplying coefficient A=1.0;

  If it is a single cold storage, the multiplication factor B=1.1. The final cold storage air cooler is selected according to W=A*B*W0 (W is the air cooler load);

  The matching of cold storage refrigeration unit and air cooler is calculated at -10oC evaporation temperature.

  Air cooler matching for refrigeration cold storage:

  The load per cubic meter is calculated as W0=70W/m3.

  If V (cold storage volume) <30m3, cold storage with frequent door openings, such as fresh meat storage, multiplying coefficient A=1.2;

  If 30m3≤V<100m3, cold storage with frequent door openings, such as fresh meat storage, multiplying coefficient A=1.1;

  If V≥100m3, cold storage with frequent door openings, such as fresh meat storage, multiplying coefficient A=1.0;

  If it is a single freezer, the multiplication factor B=1.1, and the final cold storage air cooler is selected according to W=A*B*W0 (W is the load of the cooler)

  When the cold storage and the low-temperature cabinet share the refrigeration unit, the matching of the unit and the air cooler is calculated according to the -35oC evaporation temperature.

  When the cold storage is separated from the low-temperature cabinet, the matching of the cold storage refrigeration unit and the air cooler is calculated according to the -30oC evaporation temperature.

  Air cooler matched in cold storage processing room:

  The load per cubic meter is calculated as W0=110W/m3.

  If V (volume of processing room) <50m3, multiplying factor A=1.1;

  If V≥50m3, the multiplying factor A=1.0. The final cold storage air cooler is selected according to W=A*W0 (W is the load of the air cooler);

  When the processing room and the medium temperature cabinet share the refrigeration unit, the matching of the unit and the air cooler is calculated based on the -10oC evaporation temperature.

  When the processing room is separated from the medium temperature cabinet, the cold storage unit and the air cooler are matched according to the 0oC evaporation temperature.

  The above calculation is a reference value, and the accurate calculation is based on the cold storage load calculation table.

  Cold storage tonnage calculation:

  Active cold storage tonnage = internal volume of cold storage room × volume utilization coefficient × unit weight of food.

  The internal volume of the cold storage room of the mobile cold storage = inside the storage, length × width × height (cubic)

  Volume utilization factor of cold storage:

  500~1000 cubic meters = 0.40

  1001~2000 cubic =0.50

  2001~10000 cubic meters =0.55

  10001~15000 cubic meters = 0.60

  Unit weight of food in mobile cold storage:

  Frozen meat = 0.40 tons/cubic

  Frozen fish = 0.47 tons/cubic

  Fresh fruits and vegetables = 0.23 tons/cubic

  Machine-made ice = 0.75 tons/cubic

  Frozen sheep cavity = 0.25 tons/cubic

  Boneless meat or by-products = 0.60 tons/cubic

  Frozen poultry in boxes = 0.55 tons/m3

  Calculation method of storage volume of mobile cold storage:

  In the warehousing industry, the formula for calculating the maximum storage volume is:

  Effective content volume (m3) = total content volume (m3) X0.9

  Maximum storage volume (tons) = total internal volume (m3)/2.5m3

  Actual maximum storage volume of active cold storage

  Effective content volume (m3) = total content volume (m3) X0.9

  Maximum storage volume (tons) = total internal volume (m3) X (0.4-0.6)/2.5m3

  0.4-0.6 is determined by the size and storage of the cold storage. (The following table is for reference only)

  Food category Frozen meat Frozen fish Fresh eggs Fresh vegetables Fresh fruits Ice egg machine Ice making

  Heavy kg/m3 400 470 260 230 230 230 600 750

  Actual daily storage volume

  If there is no special designation, the actual daily storage volume is 15% or 30% of the maximum storage volume (tons)

Calculation (generally less than 100m3 is calculated at 30%).

What problems should be paid attention to when transforming a warehouse into a cold storage

In order to store fruits for a long time, many vendors have transformed their original warehouses into fruit fresh-keeping cold storages. However, there are still big differences between warehouses and cold storages. So what issues should be paid attention to when transforming warehouses into cold storages! 1. It is necessary to consider whether the thermal insulation structure of the original warehouse is suitable for cold storage and preservation. Generally, the exterior of the warehouse is made of polystyrene double-layer color steel plates or rock wool boards. This type of structure is not suitable for refrigeration, preservation, and quick-freezing. It is only suitable for storage at 15°C. If it is lower than 15°C ℃, it is recommended to add polyurethane double-sided color steel warehouse board of corresponding thickness in the warehouse. Generally, this kind of warehouse board has good heat preservation effect and high fire resistance level. 2. The bearing capacity of the steel structure at the top of the original warehouse needs to be considered. Some warehouse roofs use arc-shaped round pipe structures, which have limited force and cannot withstand large-area cold storage roofs. This is also the need to pay attention to the transformation. 3. Some warehouses are simple cement floors and are not suitable for reconstruction and construction of cold storage. Therefore, ground insulation treatment needs to be considered. If the temperature is below 0℃, the ventilation pipe must be pre-embedded to prevent the foundation from sinking due to the low temperature. In this way, the bottom material should be extruded board, air- and moisture-proof layer, concrete layer, etc., in short, moisture, water and heat preservation should be done. 4. Consider the carrying capacity of power equipment. Since it used to be an ordinary warehouse, the original power may not take into account the use of later equipment, so we also need to pay attention to power cables. Electricity for cold storage generally requires 380V commercial electricity. Maungsheng Refrigeration does not recommend using 220V for cold storage construction, even small fresh-keeping cold storage is not recommended. The specific cold storage construction uses 200V electricity or 380V electricity can see detailed analysis. 5. It is necessary to consider whether the warehouse can penetrate the wall hole, because the cold storage needs to be connected with the internal unit during installation to ensure its freezing effect. 6. The design of cold storage shelves also needs to consider other factors, such as: the selection of welding electrodes in the cold storage should correspond to the material and welding process requirements of the welding base material and ensure the welding quality of the welds. The characteristics of frosting in the cold storage should be considered, the weight gain should be appropriately considered when calculating the shelf selection, and the customer's refrigeration and defrosting process should be considered for the corrosion resistance of the structural spray coating.

Precautions for the use of cold storage

Cold storage refers to constant temperature storage air-conditioning equipment for food, dairy products, meat, aquatic products, chemicals, medicine, seedlings, scientific experiments, etc. In fact, the cold storage is very similar to the refrigerator, but the area of the cold storage is much larger than that of the refrigerator, and the temperature range is wider than that of the refrigerator. The ultra-low temperature freezing of the cold storage is not reachable by the refrigerator, but they have the same refrigeration principle. The following Lengdi Refrigeration will explain to you the precautions for using the cold storage! (1) Under normal circumstances, it is not recommended to manually control the temperature of the refrigeration switch to ensure the appropriate temperature for automatic operation; (2) Regularly check the operation control and temperature changes of the unit by the control cabinet,

The importance of cold storage design

Usually, customers will ask the cold storage engineering company to produce a detailed cold storage design plan in the initial stage of consulting the construction of the cold storage. Especially for large-scale cold storage, the design plan is the most important part of the entire cold storage construction process. Today, I will introduce to you the importance of cold storage design.
